Conversion of 210 inch Beloit Super 'L' Winder to Tidand Class III Performance Series Slitter units with hitchhiker link pins and Ziehl-Abegg slitter motors on new carriage system with pneumatic braking. 7,000 fpm design speed for 140# paper. Seventeen positions for a minimum cut of 6.5 inches.
Included in the rebuild was installation of a new trim removal system which comprised new stainless steel flip top capture hoods, receivers with air flow maximation, blowers and eductors on each side and stainless steel ducting to the pulper. 8 inches of trim per side at 7,000 fpm was achieved.
